Crafted in Sonogi, Nagasaki, this single‑origin ceremonial grade matcha is the first of its kind from the region, produced using Kyoto’s traditional brick furnace method for a flavour that is both authentic and refined. Made from the prized Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari cultivars, it delivers a vivid green colour, a delicate aroma, gentle sweetness, and a clean umami that lingers gracefully.
Saemidori, meaning “clear green”, is celebrated for its bright hue and smooth flavour with minimal bitterness, while Tsuyuhikari adds a refreshing, elegant note that elevates the cup’s balance. Behind this matcha is Forthees, a cooperative of four young farmers from long‑established tea families, who cultivate their land pesticide‑free and enrich it with organic fertilizer, ensuring purity, sustainability, and respect for tradition.
