Morales is a refined and beautifully balanced Colombian coffee that showcases the unique character of Cauca's high-altitude landscapes. Produced by the Comepcafé Cooperative, one of our longest-standing Direct Trade partners, this microlot celebrates a decade of collaboration built on quality, trust and a shared passion for exceptional coffee.

Grown on neighbouring farms near San Antonio, this lot features the highly sought-after Pink Bourbon variety, selected for its remarkable sweetness, clarity and complexity. The region's abundant shade cover, steep mountain slopes and high rainfall create ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation, allowing flavours to develop gradually and produce a cup with exceptional depth and balance.

In the cup, expect the gentle sweetness of persimmon, the crisp brightness of red apple, and comforting biscuit-like notes that add warmth and structure. The result is a coffee that feels sweet and layered, with vibrant acidity, a smooth body and a clean, lingering finish. Extended fermentation enhances complexity and sweetness while preserving the clarity that makes Pink Bourbon so distinctive.

Carefully processed and slowly dried at origin, this coffee reflects both the skill of the producers and the unique microclimate of Morales. It stood out in blind cuppings as one of the most memorable coffees of the year — a testament to the quality, care and attention invested at every stage of production.
